Yucca Seedpods

I just love how dramatic yucca seedpods look in the fall and winter.

Summer Flowers

Lily caught these beauties on camera last week.

Asclepias tuberosa - butterfly weed buds.

Lilium orientalis - garden lilies.   Note that cute little green bug.  [click the pic for a better look]

Yucca filamentosa - it grows wild here, one of our few cacti.   The flower stalks are 6 ft high and covered with these white blossoms.
