Once in a while in late winter/early spring, we get a warm day when the air hangs blue in the distance, but last year's grass glows pale gold on the hills.
It. Is. Gorgeous.
We had one of those days recently and I put it on paper. I like how the rust on the barn roofs contrasts with all the blue in the air. I'm also in love with those cattails at the side of the road.
Palette: cobalt blue, raw umber, ochre, quin burnt orange.
