Dinosaur Skull
We've been walking by this log for a couple of years now and it's always been just a log. Then one day, Lily and I stopped and laughed and said, 'Do you see that?' So I snapped the pic. Then when I had it pulled up on the computer, Eric saw it from across the room and said, 'Is that...? That looks like a...' and we all said, 'I know!'

Dryad
This tree.
This tree is....
This tree has....
It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie.
There's something a little inappropriate about cleavage on a tree.
Don't you think?

Faces in Trees
Tree spirits are called 'dryads'. Specifically, they're supposed to live in oak trees. They're usually very shy, except around the goddess Artemis, the goddess of hunters and femininity. Once in a while, they show their faces. They're easier to see in the fall and winter. We've been collecting pics.
We're also hoping to get a pic of Artemis.
