Corn Fields

An important part of rural Indiana are the small cornfields that you can find around any corner on any piece of relatively flat land.

There are some really really big cornfields, too, but it's these small ones that make me happiest.

I love the neat rows of early corn on a hazy morning or evening.

  1. We love the look of corn fields too, but more and more now, whenever we see corn or soybean fields, we think GMO, Round-Up, Monsanto - all nasty stuff - which kind of ruins the view for us. Dang.

We have to get our corn into the ground soon! Have you planted yours yet?

  2. Corn is one of the worst for GMOs. We don't plant any because of the racoons, plus it's really bad for the bees.
